Shacknews has obtained the PC system requirement specifications from Treyarch concerning Call of Duty: World at War. Check them out: Developer Treyarch has released the system requirements for the PC version of its World War II shooter Call of Duty: World at War, which hits retailers on November 11 alongside the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS versions.

Processor: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better
Memory: 8 GB free hard-drive space, 512MB RAM (XP)/1GB RAM (Vista)
Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

While Treyarch was provided with the technology that powered Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, project lead Cesar Statsny GameSpot that the studio was "able to achieve this graphical intensity with only a modest bump in the minimum requirements from COD4."

Firearms is a mod for HL2. Was a great mod for Half-Kife 1. It seems the guys over at Firearms: Source just can't slow down their progress and keep having huge media updates. Today's update features the Vollmer, a weapon that was featured in the original Firearms until it was cut from the game in 2002 (much to the dismay of many).

S2tG prides itself in having mature members. We are open to support for new games if we can provide enough support for it.

Finally we have a new S2tG - Slave to the Game look. I think this look is simple and professional at the same time. This new design comes with a whole new backend system to help keep us organized and simplify the use of the site.

There will be some growing pains due to the lack of user and data import. Unfortunately, everyone will have to register again. At least it will give us a fresh start and sanitize the site of a lot of registered members that were inactive. I think the hardest part to deal with will be the forums because I wasn't able to import all of the posts/threads. I will keep the old forums open until I am confident that there is no more info in them that we need. Don't worry, the new forums are nice and will allow for almost everything we need. They are comparable to what we were using before.

One remaining issue... The gallery! There is a ton of images from a long time ago that can easily be forgotten. The problem is that our members have invested a lot of time to their personal gallery. I hope to get those images added to this new site in the future. This will take some time.

Work is still being done on the design. Won't be long before everything is completed and we are up and running. I have a lot of work to do in the backend in order to make sure everyone has the proper permissions.

For those of you that might own Unreal Tournament 3, you might be happy to hear that there is a new 1.3 patch available that contains extensive additions to the game and a ton of fixes.

There's also a new Linux Dedicated Server beta patch for any server admins interested in testing it.
