Download BF2 v1.50

Over four years since Battlefield 2 launched comes the latest update, version 1.50 which is available to download NOW!

The 2Gb download includes one of the biggest list of changes since Battlefield 2 launched as well as new map by Bjorn Sundell, Operation Blue Pearl, both Armored Fury and Euro Force booster packs for FREE and Highway Tampa becoming a requirement giving EIGHT new maps that everyone will have and be able to play on ranked servers without worry of dropping out.

With Comic-Con in full swing, we can expect more Left 4 Dead 2 news and updates, and to start things off with a bang comes six new images from Swamp Fever (including the new "uncommon common"), the new "Spitter" special infected, and of course the loading poster as well.

The new boss, "The Spitter," is designed to keep people from closet-camping and forces them out into the open. She has an area attack where she can spit on you (hence the name) or can flush you out of the hiding spots. Also featured in the Swamp Fever shots are the "Mudmen," the uncommon common infected that are unique to the Swamp Fever campaign.

Valve will be releasing new media, including the new AK-47, cricket bat, and a grenade launcher as a part of the 20+ new items that will be coming with Left 4 Dead 2. Expect to see these new items and a slew of other Left 4 Dead 2 goodies in the coming weeks!
